About Us

Owned and curated by singer-songwriter Laura Mann

The Living Room

(formerly The Living Room at 35 East) is an intimate, BYOB venue located in the heart of Ardmore, Pennsylvania that offers live entertainment in a variety of genres. It was awarded Philadelphia magazine’s “Best of Philly” award for Best Small Music Venue in 2019, and Main Line Today magazine’s “Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs” award for Unique Live Music Venue in 2020.

The Living Room launched in 2018 on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, and relocated to a larger space on Ardmore Avenue in 2021. Moving The Living Room to 104 Cricket Avenue in late 2022 allowed owner Laura Mann to create the adjacent Cricket Cafe, featuring a bistro menu and Laura’s own homemade desserts.

All tickets for all shows at The Living Room are only available from our website (see the Shows & Tickets page).

The Living Room is wheelchair accessible.

There is free parking directly behind The Living Room & Cricket Cafe, and several municipal lots located nearby.
Parking is not available during the daytime hours behind the building but there is plenty of street parking and municipal lots (see map)

Food & Beverage

Our Cricket Cafe offers a casual menu consisting of homemade dishes and desserts, including daily specials and pitchers of French press coffee made to order.  Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are not permitted. As a BYOB, you are permitted to bring your own alcoholic beverages to The Living Room, and we’ll provide the opening/uncorking and glassware, plus ice (if requested). There is a $5 corking fee.

Unless otherwise specified, ages 13 and under are not permitted. Ages 14 to 17 are only permitted when accompanied by an adult or guardian.

Photography, audio recording and video recording are allowed for personal use only, and only with advance permission from the venue. Live streaming, use of flash, stools and tripods and not permitted.

The Living Room is an intimate listening room featuring seating in comfortable couches and chairs. As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, we request that you refrain from conversation and other noise during the performance. Please make sure to silence your cell phone/devices. Limited movement during the performances is requested.

We do our best to ensure an ecologically friendly environment and experience, and to reduce waste by providing reusable/washable hand towels and minimizing other waste. We do not provide disposable straws and suggest you bring your own reusable straw, if desired. We encourage our customers to help us in our mission for sustainability by separating any recyclables from your garbage. Thank you for your effort. Together we can make a difference.
